The Alabama International Trade Center, in conjunction with the Dallas ISBDC, is pleased to present the Global Market Series of import/export webinars. These webinars, which allow participants to watch from their own office, are low-cost and result in official certification by the Institute of Supply Management (ISM), the U.S. Department of Commerce, or the North American SuperCorridor Coalition (NASCO).
Companies that are seeking documented training for professional development or for import/export audit purposes do not want to miss these webinars. Participants can pay for the entire series, or select individual training sessions.

Can I register for individual sessions?
No. We are only accepting registrations from participants that are interested in completing the entire training regimen.

Why are you charging for this event when most of your other events are free?
Several reasons actually:
We’ve brought together some names from across the industry for these webinars. Hear directly from specialists at May Kay, Rainbow Play Systems, JPMorganChase, ExIm Bank, SBA, Department of Commerce, and several law firms specializing in intellectual property and contract law.
Completion of each series results in a certificate from either the Institute of Supply Management (ISM), the U.S. Department of Commerce, or the North American SuperCorridor Coalition (NASCO).
This series is designed for busy small business owners or employees that cannot make it to Mobile, Montgomery, Birmingham, or Huntsville, where we host most of our training events.

My schedule won’t allow me to attend all of the events. Will you repeat any of these in the future? Are there alternative opportunities?
We will likely repeat all three series in the Spring of 2011. AITC offers a variety of training opportunities in conjunction with our Export Alabama Alliance members. If you need one-on-one assistance, please let us know. We would be glad to work with you outside the training room to make your import/export venture a success.

Do you accept America Express? Can I pay online?
We do not currently accept AmEx. We have not found an online payment solution that has been approved by our host institution, but we’re working on it. For now, please use the fax-back form, or call us at 800-747-2482 with your credit card information.

Will recordings of the webinars be available for download?
Web recordings will likely be available to paid attendees for a short period after the event. To qualify for the certificate, you need to attend and participate in all events.
The recordings may be available for purchase at a future date.

Will these webinars prepare me to take the NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) examination?
While the webinars will cover several key topics that are included in the CGBP exam, they were not designed as a study tool specifically for the exam.
